The Role which Computer Play in Teaching and Learning Process

Computer was built to simply compute, but as the time goes by, a lot of great minds made a contribution to the development of our modern high-technology computer today.

What's the role of the computer in teaching and learning process? Let's put it this way.

The computer plays a very important role in teaching and learning process, it creates a bridge and connects both teachers and learners, it catches the attentions of the learners, and it makes everything easier on the part of both teachers and learners. Computer can also make the students more creative and can provide them with an individualized learning environment. Amongst all teaching strategies, Computer Assisted Teaching is perhaps the best because it offers individualized instruction. In our simple allegory, computer plays the role of ELEVATOR.

Children back in early 1900s were actually passive, they had no right to speak for themselves, express their ideas, and the things they had in their minds. The teacher was the only one talking and talking and talking, he/she might not even know if his/her students are learning from what he's/she's talking about. - Stair

Then there is our parents' time, where they've got the right to express their ideas and speak in front of the whole class, unfortunately there was one thing that suppressed and held mostly of them to speak, this also made them tremble to fear! -"the magical stick" Back to the main idea, in this time the teaching and learning process is quite active because the teachers let the students have their freedom, it was also effective because they used different instructional materials e.g. charts, manila paper, etc. it was fun because of group activities and other extracurricular activities that the school prepared. - Escalator

Finally! In the 21st century where children are being civilized by modern and high-tech civilization. Learners are more interested to high-technology gadgets such as computers, laptops, cellphones and the likes. They tend to learn more with the use of these gadgets, and now these attention catcher gadgets are being integrated to our education system today, to support and help both the teachers and learners, and to let us acquire more knowledge, information and ideas from the web. It can greatly elevate our teaching and learning process, and make our lives easier and hassle-free. - Elevator

Developing Basic Digital Skills

A child perceiving the world in a different way.
When we say Creativity fluency it is the proficiency to add meaning through design, art, and storytelling. Creativity fluency is also about appropriate colors and fonts. We are all creative in nature. Meaning that creativity can be learned like any other skill. We used 7 different colors in our work to inspire it with rich sensory information.

Allegory :
Colors behind the child - the knowledge he acquired.

Main Idea :
Creativity can be learned.
A newborn child is like a blank slates. As the child grows up he intends to learn new things. He learns skills, talents, abilities, acquires knowledge, becomes creative and many other things. He learns and acquires these things because somehow he is exposed to them. Likewise he becomes creative because he is exposed to creativity that he learned and acquired later, because every single thing in this world is creativity itself.

PS :
And once a child learned and acquired these knowledge and became creative, he or she can see the world differently. (like what is shown on the image)
